WELCOME TEACHERS AND PARENTS

to Mr. Fleming’s curriculum web page dedicated to teaching students about just some of the important aspects and influences of ancient Roman society.

Students will be asked to select one of six tasks, each on different aspects of ancient Roman society. They will be required to conduct independent research on the aspect of ancient Rome that they choose.

Links/Resources are provided that will help students get started, but they will need to do some research on their own.

In order to complete the Tasks, students must have a basic knowledge of the internet. Students will need to be able to use the net to locate specific information using search engines. Students will be given time in the school computer lab in ordert to complete their task, but may need to use a computer outside of the allocated times. If a student does not have internet access at home, they should make arrangements with me to use school computers before or after school, or during class time.
